Description
As part of the outreach program, BMVSS holds about 50 on-the-spot limb/caliper fitment camps in various districts and remote areas of India every year. During these camps, technicians either transport equipment and materials in hired trucks or go to BMVSS’ mobile workshops. The teams set up temporary workshops at the campsites where the patients turn up with the help of local organizers and receive the limbs. Along with Artificial Limbs/Calipers, these camps sometimes provide Hand-Pedeled Tricycles, wheelchairs, and crutches according to the grantees’ and donors’ needs.
